BCN Plant Scout Terms

BCN Plant Scout is a field-record app and web dashboard for saving plant photos, GPS locations, notes, return dates, and exports. By using the app or dashboard, you agree to use it responsibly and to review field conditions, property access, local rules, and plant identification results before collecting anything.

Accounts and Data

You are responsible for the account you use to sync records. You may delete your account and synced cloud data from the mobile app. Local records that remain on your device are managed by that device.

Plant Identification

AI identification suggestions are a field aid, not a guarantee. Confirm plants before eating, selling, collecting, treating land, or making safety decisions.

Field Safety and Access

Use BCN Plant Scout only where you are allowed to be. Follow property rules, collection permits, hunting seasons, conservation restrictions, and local laws.

Exports and Dashboard

CSV, GeoJSON, ZIP, map, and dashboard tools are provided to help organize your own field records. You are responsible for checking exported data before using it in GIS, reports, or operational decisions.
